I’m Versatile

Thanks to FARfetched (writer as he says of weird fiction and very good it is too) has awarded me versatile blogger award. Now apparently to receive this award I must admit to seven random facts about myself, pick five more people to receive the award, let them know they won. So here I go with my random facts:

1: I like playing with pieces of cardboard with images on them, yes you’ve guessed I am a Tarot Reader! (you can find my blog and my professional reading site in the blog list.)

2: I like to go out walking most days of the week, that’s where I do my thinking for new stories.

3: I was once a ballet teacher. (In my younger days :O) )

4: I am a watercolour artist and exhibited my work for 18 years (no longer do though).

5: My last job was in a spa as a remedial massage therapist.

6: I use to like red wine  but now I like fruity white wines better.

7: I have completed one novel a fantasy fiction (still trying to get published) and am now working on my 2nd novel another fantasy fiction, a 3rd has been started but placed in stasis.

Now to nominate 5 others to receive this award:

Sonia because of those great drabbles she writes.

Lara because her serial Vampire Trackers has become a WIP

Reginald because he’s turned  Zombies into something different

Icy because she is not just interested in ghosts, she writes about them too.

Justin because he turns his job into a resource for collecting ideas for stories, now that’s versatile!

  1. Thanks Helen. I’m very honoured. Such nice words too.

  2. Congrats on the award! Have you ever seen the images on “Legacy of the Divine Tarot” designed by Ciro Marchetti? A beautiful deck! I wove my novel, Prophecy Moon, around them.

  3. May congrats, Helen, on the award! And I see some great pics too. Will be visiting some new versatile people now. :)

  4. Thanks Laura and Mari – @Laura I do know Ciro’s deck although I don’t have it myself. Tarot is a great tool for writing its visual can be so stimulating.

  5. Thanks, I so very honored! I know nothing about tarot reading. I am going to do this soon. Possibly tomorrow. Not sure I actually have 7 random things to say about myself.

  6. Hi Sonia you’re very welcome and I love your drabbles! I got my first deck in the 1970′s right now I am a professional member of the Tarot Guild of Australia but I have decided not to renew my membership to that, just because I don’t get to meetings etc. because they are too far away.

I tried to think of 7 things that weren’t too personal LOL

  7. I went in a much more embarrassing direction with my facts… whoops!

    Congratulations, Helen.

  8. Ha ha John I must go over to your place and read immeditely! :D
